The vast majority of grants funded by our charities are awarded to the UK’s world-class universities. AMRC charities have invested £2.2 billion in UK research infrastructure over the last ten years.

Policies that impact the research system matter to our charities, and so we focus our influencing activities on:

• improving the sustainability of charity-university research
• supporting research careers, translation and infrastructure
• maintaining a facilitative legislative and regulatory environment.
