Partnerships

We've developed a guide for medical research charities wishing to undertake research collaborations with the pharma industry. It covers what charities should consider when developing these partnerships and the types of agreements and contracts that might need to be in place.

If you’re considering working with industry it may be helpful to take a look at this list of organisations and additional sources of information.

We've also produced a guide for medical research charities wishing to undertake digital health collaborations with the tech industry. From the steps to take before finding a partner, through to formalising the partnership agreement, it provides a template for the collaborative process.

We encourage our member to use this series of questions with current and prospective digital health partners. They will help you to identify ethical risks and to ensure the charity’s ethical values are upheld. These questions are based on our digital health ethics framework.

In 2023, we held a Festival of Partnerships to shine a light on partnering – how best to do it, the challenges it brings and showcasing great examples from the sector. As part of this work, we published a set of Top Tips for Partnering. Find out more about it below.
