Worldwide Cancer Research is a UK charity that finds and funds discovery research into any type of cancer, all over the world. Since 1979, they have invested almost £200 million into cancer research, funding around 2,000 projects in more than 30 different countries. They believe that bold research will cure cancer and that the first step is the most important one. That’s why they only fund curiosity-driven, innovative research that will help them kick-start new cures and one day, end the suffering caused by cancer.
