In response to NAO report into Brexit and health, Aisling Burnand MBE, Chief Executive of the AMRC, said: 

“No patient should suffer because of the impact of Brexit. We strongly believe that a deal with a period of transition is in the best interests of patients. As the NAO report highlights no-deal raises the risk level and will cause anxiety and worry. Anxiety for people who are seriously ill or living with a long-term condition is unwanted. They have many other things to worry about. We urge both the UK and EU to work together and do everything they can to protect patients in the event of a no-deal."
