This analysis describes the process used to develop a framework to improve the inclusion of under-served groups in clinical research studies.

It discusses development of the framework rather than its implementation. The lessons learned are useful to those involved in medical research at all levels. It also provides a base of evidence for why EDI principles are important in clinical research recruitment.
