The government has published its response to the Independent review of research bureaucracy. Dr Catriona Manville, Director of Research Policy at the Association of Medical Research Charities (AMRC) said:

"Reducing bureaucracy in research can only be addressed by the whole system working together. AMRC has been pleased to feed into the Tickell review and today’s response and will work to support our member charities to continue to play their part in reducing unnecessary burden."
