About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at AMRC to advise medical research charities on issues relating to research, data and impact. You will be responsible for supporting our research managers’ working group, helping our members to use the impact collection platform Researchfish, and working with the rest of the team at AMRC to collect, analyse and communicate data about the sector. In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and make use of your organisational and communication skills.

About you

You have a background in science and experience in grant management at a funding organisation. You are looking for an opportunity to apply this knowledge to support our diverse membership in delivering high-quality research. You should understand the process of funding research, including the development of a research strategy, different modes of funding, the peer review process and grant management.
