Action Medical Research is a UK-wide charity funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies, children and young people. For over 60 years we’ve been saving and changing lives through medical research. Our peer review system and Scientific Advisory Panel finds and funds cutting-edge medical research in the UK most likely to deliver real benefit to babies, children and young people. Through funding projects grants and research training fellowships we tackle premature birth and treat sick and vulnerable babies, help children affected by disability, disabling conditions and infections and target rare diseases that together severely affect many forgotten children.
