We’re delighted to announce the opening keynote of Pioneering Partnerships 2019: Putting Patients First Conference will be delivered by Wendy Mitchell. Wendy was diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer's disease in 2014, aged 58. Since her diagnosis, she’s become an Alzheimer's Society ambassador, taken part in vital research and won an Inspiring Individual award. Now, she is about to publish a new book titled 'Somebody I used to know'.

The conference aims to inspire and inform partners across the health research sector to better establish links with experts by experience to create a more inclusive and relevant research environment for patients, carers and the public.  Through asking fundamental questions of, and exploring case studies from, those who have explored and developed new ways of partnering, this conference will promote the benefits of collaboration.

Register today to hear from Wendy and a host of other inspiring speakers championing to put patients first in medical research.
