The UK Trial Managers’ Network was formed over 20 years ago, and over the past two decades their aim has remained the same – to facilitate the development of a well-trained, highly motivated, effective workforce of trial managers within the UK health care system who will make an important contribution to the efficient delivery of high quality clinical trials.

Membership to the network is free, and suitable for all trial management professionals working on academic-led, non-commercial trials in the UK. They accept membership for those within academic, NHS institutions or research charities, and you don’t have to be based within a Clinical Trials Unit to join. By joining the UKTMN, you will benefit from useful resources, news and updates as well as the opportunity to learn and interact with your peers.

The network has a dedicated manager, and members have the opportunity to attend trial management focussed training events, webinars and their popular Annual Meeting. Members of the UKTMN also have unlimited access to the members’ forum, an online problem-solving and networking platform.

The network are dedicated to representing the views and needs of their members, and provide the opportunity to be actively involved in methodological research. They have established collaborations with leading research organisations, and they aim to make positive changes to the effective management of clinical trials in the UK.
