Last week, we published our Animals in research briefing, which shows that 18% of research grants funded by AMRC member charities involved animal research.

The Home Office has also released their statistics of animal use in science in 2018, revealing a 7% decrease in the number of procedures using animals; the third consecutive annual decrease and the lowest figures since 2007.
