Medical research charities play a great role in raising awareness and understanding about science and research issues. Our members’ audiences range from supporters and beneficiaries to medical research policymakers and funders, parliament and government.
We hold the AMRC Science Communication Awards every two years to recognise and reward excellence in science communication by our member charities. These awards are the only scheme to celebrate the important role played by medical research charities in engagement, involvement and public understanding of science. All entrants receive feedback from an independent panel of judges - expert in science communication, public engagement, PR, publishing and design.
The next awards will be held in 2012-13.
